College: He is the younger brother of former player Antonio Lowery. After playing sparingly in his first year on the offensive side of the line in 2010, Lowery will be a key part of the rebuilt line in 2011.

High School: Was considerd one of the top defensive linemen in the country and played in the prestigious Under Armour High School All-America Game.
